The Kniel System-Electronic GmbH is a leading high-tech manufacturer of power supplies in the power range of 7 to 3000 watts. The company was founded in 1975 and has evolved over the years from a standard manufacturer to a provider of innovative, custom power supplies and has built up competences in the fields such as automation, test and measurement, sensors, automotive and medical and laboratory technology.
The product spectrum of Kniel is divided into three main areas: power supplies and accessories for 19" systems, wall mounting and DIN-rail mounting. With a variety of more than 10,000 different standard models to choose from.
The main branch of the company is situated in Karlsruhe, Germany and managed by founder Helmut Kniel. In addition to domestic sales development and production are located here, because Kniel power supplies are 100% Made in Germany. Individual production and maximum efficiency are not contradictory, even with large product variety and small quantities. Besides the main branch in Germany Kniel performs another sales office in the Netherlands and a network of distributors throughout Europe. Currently the power supply specialist has more than 90 employees.
From the beginning Kniel had a clear concept: specialization on the highest quality level. There is no innovation without systematic engineering. Each and every power supply is developed and manufactured according to the same high quality and safety standards. Kniel invests in modern and automated production processes and relies on maximum production depth in key areas: in transformers, in the entire mechanism.
